Begun when it was leaking, finished when it burst. This isn’t my appendix, but, if they’d let me keep it, it’s much like what I imagine it would look like. I don’t know who taught me to ignore pain. I’m teaching myself to go to the doctor, but, since I no longer have an appendix, I don’t think it could be anything particularly serious.
